When sending GI... morethe EXIF removal makes sense, they can hold more like locations where you take pictures in, device model and manufacturer, ISO, Exposure value, etc.. so it is arguably, they removed it for security reasons. discord just keep original image file with EXIF.. so you have to remove them yourself before posting them

I want to use GIFs as my profile picture .
When sending GIFs, whatsapp will convert the image to video lol
Also, DON'T rely on WhatsApp for sending images or videos if you need them for work, because they get compressed and the quality is garbage 🤢🤮
They also remove the EXIF info for 'security reasons' lmao

They should test the option of letting us label unknown contact's numbers without having to enter them into our contacts app
They should test letting us create handles, so our numbers don't show up for strangers. Just give them your @handle
They should test adding another tab for gallery. With no likes and other nonsense. Just a roll of gallery, so I can get rid of Instagram
They should test adding another tab for companies and organizations to make announcements. So Facebook can be replaced

2. marketing to give more features making users happy while keeping backdoor opens with approved users consent
3. storage full with easilly accessible backdoors
