YUKI93, 04 May 2023That's the problem with the previous S21 FE. Samsung o... moreMan even for 599 its expensive to be honest.
Its nothing but a plastic phone with several flagship grade specs but those several looks more few than a lot.
499should bbe serious price for a phone which cost maybe 200 to make one.

Hugo, 03 May 2023Even i wont buy a phone without the 3.5 mm headphone jack. ... moreThe irony is that Sony did remove the headphone jack before from their 2018 and 2019 flagship phones, but only to surprise everyone by putting it back and keeping it to this day since the 2020 Xperia 1 Mk2. It does show that following the trend might not be a good idea.

AnonD-731363, 03 May 2023If they release it month before S24 and with maybe just 100... moreThat's the problem with the previous S21 FE. Samsung originally sold the base 6/128 configuration for $699, which is only $100 less than the base S21 or S22 8/128 configuration. It was only when Samsung launched the S23 series that Samsung further discounted the S21 FE 6/128 RRP to a more reasonable $599. But really, the FE should not be more than $599 in the first place. Personally, $599 should be the price for 8/256.

Anonymous, 04 May 2023Should've waited for 1 V or 5 V with better SD8 Gen2 soc.Too long to wait, so I decided to jump the queue. For all the concern about Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, I actually found the thermal management to be really impressive. Even when I do console emulation, I didn't found it to be as hot as I'd led to believe.

Have Samsung ever looked themselves in the mirror? Even Qualcomm ditched your fab because it's so bad (SD8g1). Once moved to TSMC (SD8+g1, SD8g2) Qualcomm suddenly becomes competitive with Apple Silicon. Even you, Samsung, enjoy the fruits with the S23. Now you still want to use your Exynos again? Seriously? Must be a political decision.

i dont know why people still buy samsung phones. They have massive battery optimization problem they dont give charger in box they dont give fast charging. They have a long history of battery swelling and insane heating issues. Like look on youtube entire old samsung lineup is swelling and their back cover is coming off. People are so stupid and it shows how people are crazy for just brand name.

impinas, 03 May 2023People are whining in the comments about the exynos, meanwh... moreMeanwhile both versions of the S22+ were bad. Both had battery problems.

I tweaked my S22+ Exynos a bit, and now I get through the day comfortably very easily with battery saving mode on and quite easily with battery saving mode turned off (still 6-7 hours of SOT with mixed WiFi and 4G usage). Sometimes I don't even bother to charge at night when I didn't use my phone a lot that day. I don't understand the hate for Exynos

They really should've just used the 8 Gen 2 though, or even the 8+ Gen 1 if they could slap Galaxy branding on that too. I guess it was to cut costs? But it's still going to be near the price of a vanilla S23...
