But 8+ Gen 1 already has very good efficiency, so when 8 Gen 2 is released with several percent better efficiency than 8+ Gen 1, the difference won't be felt, even though it's used for heavy gaming. If you use social media, I don't think there's even any difference.

This would sell like hotcakes if they don't think they are as worth as Apple. 500 to 600 dollars is acceptable and wise.

kevvv, 06 May 2023Nobody: GSMArena comment section everytime a phone release... moreIf we weren't talking about the more expensive and top of the line devices as well as ones where efficiency matters more than the average then your comment's placement here would make more sense.

Nice looking phone. It's really sad that Motorola (Lenovo) doesn't provide any updates. Very likely you'll sell your device with the same version of Android which was on it when you purchased your phone...

So it wasn't bad enough that even though samsung was working on the tech longer the razr came out way more expensive yet wasn't even a flagship. Was more like a $400 phone and the support of one but had a $1500 price tag! Accs couldn't even properly be used on another network after unlocked. Where as the flip started out about 1100 and had flagship parts and support.
Then they drop the design that set it apart.
Now they use a last green chip that's more power hungry....
Companies are run by imbeciles now a days.

SMH. Still using last year's chip over the more efficient Gen 2. None of the flips interest me. I think I'll go book-style fold in the next round.

alldaybig, 05 May 2023The battery capaciity is still a little disappointing in th... moreSo as having the Razr22 I can share you're wrong on the battery as it is much bigger than required and handles most of the time better than the bar phones of people around me in work.
For most task the smaller screen on my 22 allows me to do enough tasks that I open the main much less. The smaller LCD with lower refresh consumes so much less power that I have no issue going through a day and often hit two with ease. My best has been 3.5..... but that was a lot of WiFi and standby time.
The bigger screen on this 23 will give even more functionality and thus the battery will be very positive in lifetime. Yes, if you start playing games it won't hold but this isn't the function of a phone imo. Buy a steam deck or something...
The CPU is fast enough I do agree you don't need that to be upgraded, but the bigger front display is very attractive and solves most of those battery things.

The battery capaciity is still a little disappointing in these flip phones, I know there is not much space to accomodate bigger, but still I think it should be atleast top priority. Nobody gives an F about if its Snapi gen 1 or 2 jeeeez. Runs stuff exactly the same
