they just renamed it to sell it more lol, that cheap processor doesn't cost that much compared to a camera sensors coming from Sony with an actual glass and a free camera software for running with a Device manufactured, that chip doesn't cost that much lol. Don't waste your time chip market is moving Mediatek selling these chip at low cost because they can sell more and less failure rate happening in FACTORY (TSMC).

DarlingYext, 06 May 2023Dimensity 1080 is a very good chipset, so I think that'... moreSeems to me they worked hard to ensure they had a hold of some market and now that they have a sort of monopoly of the mid range market [Last 2 gens of Realme and Redmi note phones used Mediatek chips for their Pro+ models], they've now resorted to doing what Qualcomm does/did for some of their chips - Change the name but do nothing for the core structure of the chip
