People who know about spec would kno... moreSome regular people don't know what chip their phones are, or maybe know only Snapdragon and MediaTek are chipset brands, but use the notion of random people saying that MediaTek is hot without processing this information wisely. My mom is one of them ironically.
I'm not one of them. MediaTek chipsets, especially their Dimensity line are actually great. Actually comparing their 4G chipsets, their Helio G9x chipset is actually better than Snapdragon 680. But people who don't understand will say that Snapdragon 680 is better "bEcAuSe iT's sNapDrAgOn"

People who know about spec would know that starting with the Dimensity line, mediatek is actually good. Meanwhile, regular people wouldn't even know what chip their phones have. I think you're only seeing trolls on internet forums. Reality is, even Samsung is using mediatek on some of their phones.

That’s why you rarely see good snapdragon chips being used. They’re not cheap. Samsung will use Exynos, while other OEMs will just use older snapdragon chips like the 695.

The F series is India only. Majority of co... moreMost Redmi Note 12 is also only for China too.. the second most is probably India.. you know India is the country with the most Xiaomi users, so it's natural. The rest of the world only gets 2-3.
For example, Indonesia currently only has 3 official Redmi Note 12 releases.
I've written this a lot, it seems people here ignore or don't believe it.
