Some people here like to keep repeating about MIUI being bad, the fact is MIUI really isnt much worse than UIs from Oppo and Vivo. Custom rom is for those who want more control and performance, just like how some car owners heavily mod their brand new cars.
With more and more OEMs disabling bootloader unlocking, its good to see Xiaomi still giving users more choices.

that why so many people using xiaomi.
then again in xiaomi when you asking for updates is equivalent asking for trouble
i think this phone will last longer thanks to powerful chipset compared to obsolete 870 865 855 778 762 etc
except google/arm released new set instructions cpu

Can't wait to see the 7+ Gen 2 benchmark performance. It looks like a truly promising SoC for midrange-grade phones.

Minimal effort, but you can claim marketing to have an IP rating. Better than nothing though like those BBK phones

a52s, 09 May 2023Is this worth upgrading from Samsung A52s? If you don't use any more than 256gb of storage and have no plan on upgrading it since you can't, then sure. I would do it. I would also make sure it supports custom rom though as well.

IP53? what kind of rating is that?? it seems like a good phone overall, but IP53 is ridiculous, IP56 should be the minimum
