Personally I like the design, bit of a htc touch but then a much faster (according to benchmarks) version with gps.
If you don't mind the small flaws of this device (no vga, 2mp camera, micro sd card behind camera) this is really one fast and small device!
According to some reviews and benchmarks its really fast, which puts this device in a special position right away. Think I'm going to get one! :)

MS makes great software. Some of it is better then others.
Windows mobile is the best selling PDA, wonder why!

are you joking? EVERYBODY complains about windows, its made by microsoft, they make crap software. and windows mobile is just as bad, if not worse.
the iphone is on a different level. not in features, but in useability and intuitiveness, everything in it just works. something wm cant hold up to

Iphone is a good mobile phone, but it will never be a pocket PC, it's stylish but that's HTC too, it's having a nice UI, but the touch flo is better(I'm a htc user for years now).
It's just not ok, to match WM with the OS from Iphone, two different wordls!
If you wanna be stylish and the only thing you wanna do with your mobile,or the main thing is browsing and listening to itunes, then go and buy the Iphone, but if you need to work with your PDA, and you need full funcionality, then go and buy a WM device.
Great job by Asus!

Looks like a copy of HTC's Touch... with a few improvements... BTW... speaking of iphone...the UI is the only good thing about it...nothing else.. it's just an internet device with an ipod and a mediocre phone...

What a shame people are trying to copy iPhone UI. What they don't know is iPhone's screen (finger sensitive screen) is totally different from their screens (pressure sensitive screen) and finger swipe UI will never work well. Moreover, iPhone screen size is about a good size for finger swipe UI.
They want to fool customers with tiny, low resolution and finger nail swipe touch UI... lol...
What I want is a WM device about Samsung Omnia size, storage and camera plus SE X1 designs and features. It will be cool...

though d set is not dat spectaculr but if its priced for lyk 200-2500 as guessed by n oder revier den it can be a sweet deal.

To those of you expressing concerns about the 65k screen, 2mpx camera, etc. What if the phone is priced at $250 or less when it is released? I'm not saying it will be, but if it is, then what a deal! Many companies are trying to figure out how to counter Apple's price point on the iPhone, so it's not unlikely that we will see the market flooded with lower prices soon. THIS is why free market competition is AWESOME!
