I rather going single camera setup rather than tarnish the reputation with 2MP crap. I think my dumb W995 output better image.

The reflections suck, it's harder to hold because of the sharp edges and it's also inefficient in terms of packaging. Just looks "cool" on the shelf, the only reason Samsung did it and they stopped when they realized it sucks. Like curved TVs.

Sure, it has a 1440p screen and that dreaded 8mp+2mp barely useable cameras, but its SD 8+ Gen 1 is the closest thing you can get for the best bang-for-your-buck $400-range phone. My country has it at around $450 early bird price, $430 with vouchers.
So yeah, if Poco, with it's model of low profit but high sales volume, can't even make an 8+ Gen 1 phone have a price below $400, having a sub-$400 SD 8 Gen 2 phone is pretty much impossible even with a 1080p screen + 8mp single camera. But who knows, maybe next year when the chipset's cheaper because of the newest 8 Gen 3 from Qualcomm?

if we got a SD 8 G2 phone for $400, that thing would sell like hotcakes. maybe a 2 camera design and 1080p display to save costs. heck even 8mp would be fine at that price point

I am guessing they may launch this in EU since India already has 11r (Ace 2). But EU and NA/SA users don't have that option.
