They placed it higher than the 920 even though it was slower than 920. They'll correct it in a week or so. I'd suggest you to compare the antutu and geekbench scores they have mentioned.

Madmallu, 13 May 2023Do you ever tried anything rather than iphones and samsung.... moreWhat he is saying is not totally false.
Many brands try to imitate iPhone and Samsung ( in terms of looks and OS).
Lava ( along with Micromax) were very popular for low cost phones with tons of features ( claiming more than iphones). Biggest down side which nobody in India realised immediately was - They got phones from non Indian manufacturers and then simply stamped it as Indian phone. Plus buyers never knew anything about software updates for these phones ( non existent in short).
Currently however, Lava is trying to correct it's past mistakes and be back as a reliable Indian brand.

                              Nice alternative to Chinese stuff

Whenever I see these new phones with brand new logos and names. I really cant trust them. Not till they have recognition or have been doing it for a while. Cuz to me they seem like those wanabe iphones and samsungs with their fake 4 cameras which actually is just 1 real one. And fake iphone os and so on. I did the same with oppo, realme, vivo and so on.

Just look at the arm cores of the chips. They're both the same config with not even a clock speed difference. They're the exact same. So logically, that would mean that any "increase" you see in the scores is literally variance within margin of error. Please let's use websites to educate ourselves, not engage in banter.
