        I have been interested in the Sony Xperia 1 models for a while now since I like the aspect ratio (nice that someone does something different) and they feel great in the hand. I also very much like that there is a seperate shutter button - yet I bought the S23 Ultra when offered a deal for 1100 euros. Despite the Xperia 1 mark V making some good changes to last year Sony still has a long way to go when it comes to computational photography. So I will happily use my Samsung until the Xperia 1 mark VI comes next year and make a new decision then.

A 256GB Xperia isn't directly comparable to a 256GB Samsung because the Samsung doesn't have expandable storage. To get up to 512GB on the Xperia is 30$, but more like 100-150$ on the Samsung.

Forget about un... moreAnother comment on moving the goalposts - You literally implied the iPhone has an excellent camera, battery life, and software support, but called it a boring joke. Samsung and all the others are a 50/50 hit or miss. Now it's a miss.

Forget about un... morei agree, this years s23 ultra is probably the best samsung flagship in last few years and most complete android flagship. but i still kinda feel they could have reduced the cost a little. they have a profit margin around 55-60% on s23 ultra, they can make it 45-50 and reduce the cost a little for consumers zzz. but they only create value for shareholders not customers meh

Now it is amazing. Be it camera or battery life or screen or performance or support. Everything is great. Nobody can do better. iPhone isn't counted as it is boring joke.

                            I just wish they would give up the 21:9 ratio lol. Might be usable with the Xperia 10 V size, but then you have to take a downgrade on the specs

                                Great phone. Though I'm sure a Samsung knight is going to laugh at me for liking a phone that last year could only record 4K120FPS for 5 minutes, all the while their S22 Ultra is recording at 45FPS when they set it to 60... Lol
