Google fixes overheating and battery drain issue on Pixel

No one can hear my 4year old's voice when he speaks on the pixel7pro. this is ruining the experience on this phone. Clear Calling is off, Software is updated with May 2023 patch. i tried multiple calling apps Meet, WhatsApp,etc. this is a huge problem while effecting my personal life. is there a solution to this problem? if not please let me know , as i need to consider to return this phone and switch, it's really frustrating

Not sure I was affected by this, either as the phone never heated up. Yes, the 6 series had theirs fair share of bugs, but the 7 is as polished as they get. Much smoother interface than Samsung's, Huawei's or Xiaomi's bloated ones.

          Google is such a weird company. Just make good phones already. Pixel AI integration and cameras make them the most compelling Android options, but there's too many issues with these devices to seriously consider them. It's really not that difficult, get it together!

            Note - I have purchased Google 7a the say os was launched and it is bad seriously bad. I have not installed any app and battery backup is bad , charging is low as compared to mid range phone and heats 🔥badly

              Pixel phones are overrated. The bugs and substandard hardware compared to others in the market does not justify the cost of great ai integration. This whole problem with heating issues and battery drain by the Go-ogle app, makes me wonder what they are upto. Prospect buyers should remember that the service life of their device is regulated by gog and it's patches.

But you loose everything with t... moreMy rule of thumb is if it can last the day on 1 or 2 charges it doesn't need fast charging. That's assuming it can fully recharge in an hour and a half, which these days isn't fast charging. If I baby it I can get 10 hours screen on time on my V60. However I rather use max brightness so I usually only get like 6 or 7 hours. Most days that's enough but when it isn't or if I game, it can recharge in two hours, which I'll always have 2 hours later in the day to recharge. I understand the frustration though. It's a long wait.

                                  I had the pixel 2 2xl 5 and now 7, from 5 onwards they were all overheating. The 7 won the trophy last winter. It shut down its radios in a coldish room at 15celsius just because it was charging and scrolling various apps or sometimes just driving with Google maps and charging which is not particularly fast to justify. I will remain a pixel fan but they gotta fix these little shits or it will be the last one. PS: still not gonna be an iPhone, loosers
