The only downside in F series is camera. They've could put the cameras from X series on this and vice versa. Nobody would complain to pay 20$ more to get a better sensor, while X series could have been cheaper with this old omnivision.

I was almost on the verge of buying a Poco X3 Pro for custom ROM development until I saw my friend's unit suddenly stopped working without any warning whatsoever and only later found out that the motherboard had completely fried out.

Motherboard dead issue after update, xiaomi/poco went from the top brand to the lowest brand under a year. Due to these problems in india. Their first sale in india flopped.

Ngl, I am totally interested with the vanilla F5 not only because it has headphone jack, but also because of the SoC. It's crazy to see how the upper-midrange 7+ Gen 2 can catch up, if not beat flagship 8/8+ Gen 1. Definitely in my list as a secondary phone, mainly for custom ROM development.

I mean, my Poco f5 just arrived few days ago, the phone is just a whole package of goodness, tremendous battery life, exquisite gaming performance as I'm playing honkai star rail and cod mobile no problems, daily use is just great, a 3.5mm jack with high-res audio certified which i tested good sound quality, dual speakers decent enough, body is light which i like very much, display is gorgeous very slim bezels unlike other devices in its mid range class, streaming videos is a pleasant experience having support HDR10,HLG,HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and yes that's almost all the format the phone is able to stream, media consumption or web browsing with 120hz is just eye candy, price is just right for what it offers, oh and the best part is 67W charger included in the box, and to charge this 5000mah batter took only 40-45 mins depends how much left before charging, normally i charge around 10%-20% left so time may vary to each user but i can guarantee 46-48 mins top for full charge, and yeah.. i would definitely pick F5 over the pro just because it offers what i want in a lower price bracket but still do good

Poco have the worst ever service and even a very piece of sh!t mf CEO in India, so a big NO! Guaranteed motherboard failure is waiting for buyers.
For other nations, it is a great device and I hope a good after sales service too. Anyone can go for it!
