And you’re right about the software part. These Chinese phones will eternally suck when it comes to software and updates, lol.

hope they give a proper software with meizu also optimized for western languages. most of Chinese brands are even not capable of fitting a simple "bluetooth" name in a UI icon.

Meizu has always been on top with their design. One of the best designs in the phone industry, if not THE best. It is a shame that their software does not live up to the same standards.

Ngl, I do like the overall design of it. It's a mixture of current Apple iPhones and Samsung S23/S23+, and it does look great. Also, flat screen panel FTW!

Apple ditched it ever since the iPhone X (excluding the SE), as well as ever since all phones transitioned to the modern full-screen design. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, in fact I used to hate it on old phones with the top/bottom chin, but I like it more on these fullscreen phones. Makes it stand out.

I can't believe it. Despite nearly a decade of design changes in smartphones, Meizu still manages to bring its own distinctive flavor (in comparison to the current market). What an awesome looking phone, just like their MX3 from a decade ago.

It reminds me of the old LG G6, it had that colorful bezel, well technically just the silver and black. But the silver one was almost close to white.

This would makes sense only when the full bezel be white and not 1mm of white and then extra 1mm of black bezel
As the bezel on modern day is at max 2-3mm on every side then there is no point to have half of the bezel in other color then black

oh wow! been waiting for a colored front bezels for quite awhile now. it's a shame the back design of this probably isn't as unique as Meizu was.
