The A13 with Exynos 850 isnt faster than the A03s with P35 in tasks like opening apps and browsing speed. A13 also doesnt feel smoother in games. The only good thing is A13 doesnt heat up as much as the A03s. Like you said, I think the Exynos 850 cant handle 1080p display very well.

i'd rather get redmi 9 than a14 with 3 year old midrange hardware and called it a "day" not a xiaomi bias but this is the truth, you can now find redmi 9 very cheap..
