I am looking forward to a phone where they care about the software. Nothing Phone 1 has a smoother feel even with a non-flagship chipset. I would expect the same with Nothing Phone 2. And stop comparing it with company giants, they have the money to shell off on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. And because they are using an older chip that means it would be cheaper than your preferred phones. I never had a chance to own a OnePlus before when it was at its prime, but I am really waiting for this one. You don't like it just because it does not have the latest chip is stupid. I guess you would prefer a ZTE Nubia that has a 2 year expiry date due to the company not even fixing bugs, since it has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. July and August 2023 will be a blast for everyone. My next phone will either be Nothing Phone 2 or a cheaper Samsung S22 Ultra. I really wanna check out Google Pixel 7 as well but the amount of people complaining on Network Issues gives me the hibbie-jibbies.

8gen1? others are releasing 8gen2 and you will use a year old processor? pretty sure the price will be up to from your phone1. this will be a hard sell.

The more it becomes OnePlus, the higher likelihood that it will also join the mothership in a few years. These recruitment cost money, and I'm sure those investors would love to see some good returns soon. I'm guessing Nothing will join mothership Oppo in 2 years or so, 5 max. The glyph gimmick looks neat for first show, but it will get stale by the second time around.
