        Does a GoPro have a 1” sensor? Can it take macro shots? And how is the actual video quality? The ZV-1 is obviously the winner here in every regard. It's supposed to be a dumbed down mirrorless camera (or a very premium point-and-shoot), not an action camera nor just a vlogging camera despite its marketing name.

        Go do some research on their RX100 (as you obviously haven't heard of it) and then you'll understand.

            I really don’t understand where Sony is going with these things. They’re literally just aiming at YouTubers who buy their stuff for flexing. Majority of people can be served better by other alternatives for a lot less.

                18mm is wider than ZV-1F, so that is a welcome upgrade. I don't mind shorter max zoom since vlogging mostly done on ultrawide focal length.

                    Not optically stabilized, lol. Just get a GoPro, far cheaper, more compact, and definitely will be better at image stabilization
