Samsung Galaxy S23 FE now rumored to arrive before the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5

24 May 2023
It's apparently due to falling sales of the Galaxy S23 series.

Oh no Exynos again. Samsung should use Snapdragon chip in FE series, just like S20 FE 5G.

People are so dumb to see the problem with this. No one complains how this is dumb. And its why samsung still do it cuz no one complains idk how yall are dumb. But someone will say im the dumb one yet dont realize why this is dumb.

Samsung bring back 3.5 audio jack. The speakers industry keeps the port, so you must keep it too.

Bringing S23FE will be a mere stupidity and will lead further downside in S23 series sales as people will have a cheaper option. Samsung must rather offer S23 series at cheaper price and keep the S23FE launch for October. Also, they must launch only two S23 phones a year. S23 & Ultra and S23+ & Ultra like Apple does with it's iPad Mini and iPad Air. With this, they will be able to cater targeted buyers more accurately.

At this point, samsung themselves are shooting their own feet with their Exynos. 7+ gen 2 or 8+ gen 1 would have made this a rock solid phone but yet another power hungry overheating Exynos strikes again. Only thing that can save this now is price.

Anonymous, 25 May 2023FE has never been popular. Reason there is no 22 FE. Samsung (almost) got the formula right with the S20 FE. Samsung even launch a 2022 version of it with Android 12 out of the box.

Here's a tip to get people buying back your phone, Samsung: Stop copying Apple and put back the headphone jack alongside microSD card support. Not many people is going to spend more money buying wireless earbuds and monthly cloud storage subscription. That's one of the reason why I sold my Galaxy S22 Ultra for an Xperia 1 iv. Nothing beats the sheer plug-and-play simplicity of both the jack and the card, especially in rural places.

Anonymous, 25 May 2023FE has never been popular. Reason there is no 22 FE. Apparently it's the opposite.
S22 isn't that popular (some people just hate Exynos), and S23 sales isn't that good, that's why Samsung make S23 FE from "leftover" components.

It is vicious cycle Apple can get away with it, while samsung not.

New components ➡️ higher costs ➡️ higher retail price ➡️ lower sales ➡️ less profit ➡️ costs cuts next phone ➡️ mad geeks ➡️ mad geeks tell friends/family not to buy ➡️ less sales again ➡️ less revenue ➡️ more cost cuts

I need s23u FE with midrange camera and precessor so price doen about 500$ xD

What Samsung is thinking? They’re still selling the S21FE and S22. Having this S23FE with basically S22 spec will only create customer confusion. This will only work if it can replace the S21FE at its current price point (and discontinue both the S21FE and S22).
