South Indian actors and for that matter actors from any industry endorse phones and FMCG. Not too long ago Rashmika Mandana was in a McD ad. Allu Arjun appeared in a KFC ad while Mahesh Babu endorsed Mountain Dew. Sure they don't get as many ads because of their reach but they aren't beyond endorsements. People who are boycotting Bollywood aren't the most sensible kind but it doesn't matter cause they won't watch Bollywood movies either way. Boycotting a film industry for endorsements? Hollywood wouldn't even exist by this logic.

The big question is will does Realme expect its customer to believe that Shahrukh Khan will be using a sub INR 35K phone for his daily usage? The answer is No.
Similar to how FMCG brands expect us to believe that these stars are eating and drinking all the junk in the world...there is a reason why the coming generation in India is boycotting Bollywood and potentially Cricketers as well, cos they all lie for money.
The laws should should enforce responsibility and even charges against these so-called celebrities' when a consumers faces problem (health, monetary, or material) resulting from the products being sponsored by these celebs.
