Just t... moreYou made a very valid point that vertically closing phones make perfect sense when your pockets aren't big enough to fit a regular phone. I mean regular phones that are >=6.9". That's why almost no one makes regular phones larger than that. And that's why I'm excited about this one and am looking forward to seen vertically folding screens >7"

That smaller screen is perfectly fine for what I use my phone 90% of the time when I am outside. And just flip it open for the occasional you tube video or any other social media thing you would use it for.

Looks good, I wonder how the battery life will be on this though. Not sure if they'll be able to fit a battery on the screen-fitted part of it.

but update policy sucks, Motorola has one year of major update correct? Why would i get this over the galaxy flip with 4...?

Expect to get android 14 one year after it´s launch. Moto edge 30 ultra still running android 12, and Moto doesn´t reveal when will launch.
