By default it's resampled by android and sounds terrible, which is why the whole 3.5 jack argument is terrible. Even the LG one is mediocre and outdated considering you can get an external USBC dac for pennies that easily outperforms LGs. Even companies like Hidiz make tiny DAPs that can playback source dsd material which even the LG can't.

Meh. Zenfone is loosing it. Loosing compact size and camera getting more megapixels rather than using bigger sensor and better optics. now were getting slow camera as the image needs to process longer to bind 16 pixels to one and even samsung is an proof that this isn't superior approach in picture quality. i wonder what other dull ideas zenfone 10 brings. On The 9 the soft texture on the plastic back was an horrible idea, one light scratch and the mat finish was gone.

Also that the price conversion for those of us in Europe is worth it. If its 700€ ish or lower that would be amazing but I doubt it

SuuperBaka, 26 May 2023People seem to have a warped definition of small nowadays. ... moreIts small in comparison. 5.5" used to be a big phone but that was back in the days of huge bezels. because of the screen to body ratios we have no, Phones with anything under 6" is definitively small now and anything between 6" and 6.4" is not big but not small but still manageable size unlike some. Even if it is much bigger than phones used to be a something the size of an iPhone 14, Pixel 7a or Zenfone 10 still feels "pocketable" in a way as S23 Ultra or ROG Phone 7 doesn't. Look my current phone is a Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro which has a 6.4" screen but has the same physical size as my previous phone Moto G5 Plus which is 5.2".
I would prefer phones to stay around or under 6" too but it becomes difficult to cram everything in to that tiny body, even being over 6" the base iPhones, Pixel and Galaxy S have had bad battery life
