Super Android 22, 26 May 2023When joe bidden became president they were trying to ban xi... moreIt was because the owner got tribute from government, not to do with xiaomi itself.
Huawei is another case. Mi6, Cia and other are sure huawei spies for CCP. Nothing to do with how many sold phones.
Stop with this crap

1440p screen from Boe, Visionox and China Star are cheaper than 1080p from Samsung. There is no " xiaomi cannot have access to samsung oled".
1440p E6 LTPO made by samsung is about $90. Chinese makers sell for way cheaper.
Chinese OEMs are saving money while playing " we are patriotic, we support chinese industry"
This simple move saves many dozens of million dollars . Every cost cut counts when sales of phones are decreasing.
OEMs try to save as much possible.
Vivo: x90 and 90 pro have Boe oled, while 90 pro+ has samsung oled. That is choice.

CasualPerson, 26 May 2023even if Xiaomi never even acknowledged them, the US or any ... more I've never heard for Xiaomi 5G infrastructure being placed all around the world like for example, Huawei. The States got nothing on Xiaomi. Zip. Zero.

eXultia, 26 May 2023He wants Samsung bloat ui with 30 apps you never use or can... moreSeems like a couple here are in thw same boat or something. I remember using my redmi note 5 a.i. Dual cam, software experience was pretty good tbh, never had any issues and was pretty customisable for a £180 phone new.
Its like they forget the low end market is normal for a phone to be replaced every 6 months and not top notch software support which samsung has the same issues on the low end (mot very well software supported devices with basically android one, not even the full fat version of android/oneui).
Xiaomi flagships are solid devices with constantly good software features. Yes they arent quite samsung, apple, oppo/bbk or previously Huawei levels of up to date support but its nowhere near as bad as how some are reacting. Bet people dont even know xiaomi has its own desktop experience for their phones yet bash them here lol.

Anonymous, 26 May 20232023 and some ppl here still blindly believe Apple got huaw... more- Xiaomi Lives in Bejing, China. in China, You are obligated (if the CCP wants to) to sell data to the Chinese Government
- Tencent Bought Xiaomi's Gaming Division, Blackshark, for 470M Dollars.
Tencent is well known for purchasing Riot Games and 40% of Epic, Funding Discord, and Creating QQ and WeChat. They are also a Chinese Company, and are tied with the Chinese Government.
- The Huawei Ban wasn't because of how they were about to beat Apple, it was because Huawei was run (and funded) by some members of the CCP. and many backdoors were installed to not only sell your data, but even read Classified Data. for me, It's Pretty Unfair, Because Social Media Companies (like Meta) do the same thing but get away with it. maybe because they are western?
This can also happen to companies Like The BBK Squad (Vivo, Oppo, Realme, and Oneplus).
Yet again, about the ban, I don't care about the Location, I care about the services.
Now Let's wait for the Anons to disagree with me.

hmm, 26 May 2023You should take a visit to your doctors to figure out whats... moreI'm not talking about them being banned from the US, More like I'm talking about them being banned from using Google Services or any other supplier, regardless if it was the US, or The EU that banned them from said services.
Also, According to google, Similar Means "having a resemblance in appearance, character, or quantity, without being identical." and not "It's gonna be the same, omg, Xiaomi is in the US and they'll get banned xdxd"
I'm not saying this to hate on Xiaomi, I'm saying that I have a Suspicion they might get banned from using any Western Service or Supplier the more they become popular.

What's the point of having a custom UI if you don't even maximize the use of it? Samsung bloatware in its UI actually have a purpose unlike your cheap Ad filled UI

Anonymous, 26 May 2023ASP of $163? This means that Mi and foldables barely exis... moreIt's good mobile manufacturers like Xiaomi can be successful with entry level handsets. Most people don't spend on premium phones unless it's from apple. Consumers that don't want to spend $1,000 on a phone will just buy an apple from prior years or take a hand me down.
This also shows why companies see an upside in expendable form factors. The android market is 3 billion strong, but premium android devices combined probably account for less than 25% those billions.

Because the weak of software offset by super hardware. For example poco F5 with Snapdragon 7+gen2. No phone in the same price range can compete with its raw power.

rizki1, 26 May 2023Ah ok don't know about that. thanks for information.Yeah. Private companies don't need to publish this information. Actually, Huawei does though even though they don't have to as a private company. They are quite transparent as not many private companies publish their reports on their websites for the public. You can find all their annual reports on their website. BBK group publishes nothing as far as I know so we have no clue about their profit margins for any of the brands other than what they choose to divulge
