Closest thing is the HTC u23 pro, which has very low availability right now, since it was released less than two weeks ago and might get a global release.

Considering the SD7+G2 is a chipset similar to the 8+G1, it's no wonder people like it over the Pro. The phone is very similar in all ways minus a few missing features. But they're not key features. I'd be hard pressed to get the Pro unless gaming is your concern. Also how is the camera worst on the Pro than the vanilla model? I just hope they adjust that thing. Should've used a better sensor on the Pro to be honest.

Western world just have strict rules and quality standards with what the vivo dont want to deal with as it's under the BBK that also have OnePlus and that is all over the place to get. Even Realme is not all over the Europe and limited models end up here. And then again Poco is rebrand of Xiaomi phones that are a lot cheaper and probably are the competition for the vivo and realme and fail on that with higher prices. Also they are mostly China market only too these cheaper Xiaomi models for like F5 is the Note 12 Turbo that is like 270 euro based on gsma site price on the phone while F5 is 350 that is not realistic price as you cant get one with that price. I got a low price of 410 euro for the 8/256GB version that also was like only first week the phone end up in my country local stores as first weekend and then went back on 440 euro for the 8GB version and 12GB is 480 euro. It will probably take 2 months when the price will be at around 380 euro like i saw with X5 Pro that first 2 months was 360 euro and then drop to 320 euro. I was looking to get me x5 Pro at first and then i was waiting to see what will F5 be and thanks to that F5 have 3.5mm jack i bought it as if it would not had it then i would of gone with x5 pro.
Also there was some bend test i saw that the x5 pro was bending from under cameras to half while F5 didnt bend at all even tough plastic and all you would imagine it breaks in half.

I don't know if VIVO will sell it in Europe, as it seems to me that the western seems very hostile toward that brand from that particular country.

Focus on chip (performance)In East-North Europe i see no iqoo for sale.
I cant even find any phones in amazon.de as when i went with the iqoo in search i got some screen replacements that were at 300 euro plus in price for just the screen.
If that is only for India and China then it's not competition for Poco that is global market as India and Europe and probably other Asia and Africa countries too

Zuzuz, 28 May 2023If these phones had the cameras of Poco X series, they woul... moreWell you cant have all for 400 euro in F5.
7+ Gen 2 is already a flagship performance chip where only 8+ Gen 1, 8 Gen 2 and soon to release 8 gen 3 is better then that chip in flagship hardware.
I dont know what Mediatek chip get close to 7 gen 2 or is better if there is one.
Now on the camera part i would ask who actually needs 4k recording and on 60 fps in that matter ? Majority of people hardly ever use camera and they probably would also have it on standard around 720p or 1080p and is good enough for them.
Poco is option for people who want good performance phone and dont much care for the camera part and also dont care for the microSD card slot that only F1 had and none of the other F series had it after that so it's a surprise that they had 3.5mm jack back on F5
you have your options to have SD card slot in phones and better camera but you need to just give up on getting flagship performance if your not willing to pay for flagship price.
Poco F series has always being for performance first and cut corners on other hardware to get the cost down and also the cameras on F series have always being on par with other cameras on middle class phones.
I read somewhere that F5 have 720p with 960fps on camera. I would think that is more interesting feature then filming on 4K. To have fun slow motion videos with that 960fps over a bit better video quality.
Anyways who are even doing home videos now and then watch these on there 4k TV screens on 55 plus inch screens ?
As i understand younger people live only in there phones that also have only 1080p screens so what you get from 4K video on that screen ?
To be honest i prefer 720p or even 480p to have the picture blurry to hide a lot of effects that look really fake on 4K and so on.

Even with MIUI for POCO, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is an absolute beast. We have come to a point where an upper-midrange SoC is on par, if not beat its flagship brother. Put in USB3 with video output and custom Desktop Mode, and it can easily be the only computer an average consumer ever needs.

I want to know what better midranges there are at the moment.
This phone is solid in every way. The only downside would be its camera performance, that isn't on par with the best ones.
