And here, another confusing naming scheme.
S17, judging by the specs, isn't supposed to succeed any phone, yet its sounds like it succeeds S16.
S17t succeeds S16 and S16e but looking at the names makes it look unrelated.
S17e sounds like a successor to S16e yet their specs are totally unrelated.

Confusing, isn't it?

Im done with seeing the 778g+ or the 778g. Its only a year old but we have already gotten a better chipset called 7+gen2. I dont understand buying a phone thats almost 2 times weaker for the price then the current standard.

By next year, can we actually and please start utilizing the 7 Gen 1? It's a pretty underrated SoC that needs more phones using it. 778G is fine but can we actually push away from that?

Even though they're pretty much on par, this is still better: https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/qualcomm-snapdragon-778g-plus-vs-qualcomm-snapdragon-7-gen-1

It is understood that to save the final cost. Both SOCs are from 2021.
