Samsung customer service is horrible!!! I bought Galaxy note 20 ultra 5G, but had problem to unlock it--called millions of times, been to local Samsung stores in different location, yet, nobody was able to unlocked and told me to send back to Samsung service center in TX, which I did. Samsung kept my phone over 45 days --I called many times and each time spoke with different people and was transferred millions of time with tons of time wasted. After almost 2 months, Samsung sent it back to me and said that no engineer in Samsung was able to unlocked. I was told a few times that Samsung would either give me a refund or another phone. In the end, nothing had happened! I spend over $1000 for that phone and it became useless!
One day, I went to NYC local store and an Asian guy from Flushing unlocked my phone in less than 1 hours while ALL Samsung high paying engineer were not able to do anything and kept my phone almost two months!!!! So how good is Samsung?!

And yes i agree, Samsung is way ahead with its android brothersnin terms of international presence and after sales service. One of my friends have a damaged moto razr and the repair was such a bother. Also the availability if of accessories is a lot better with Samsung.

But I think the issue is that the Z fold is the 4th model that samsung have put out and can now be had for a much lower price, even now from Samsung. The pixel fold feels like poorer value comparatively because it's Google's 1st gen folding phone, so you just know there are going to be teething issues. So when you compare to the competition they probably should have tried to undercut Samsung a bit like honor did.

Thats the main thing about samsung, they have very very good devices that have very good support worldwide (which is what i think to people and this site that classifies them as "the best".
Apple bringing a foldable will do well, anything apple generally does very well (i bet the mini series of phones still outsold a lot of other company flagships just it doesnt meet their sold units standard). Like samsung they have a very dedicated user base so even if the device was over £2000 it'll sell and prefer people using their own stores etc to buy from so will offer their own unique offers.
Fyi samsung does NOT have well priced devices they just hold their value much better and have all the major deals with all the major companies to sell their devices.

Im not buying any other fold without spen support and there is no denying that Samsung is the best choice for now. Also, Samsung is still my choice - they always have good sale package and with their swapping program the Fold is almost normal flagship price.Samsung stores and all leading gadgets stors here in Dubai even accepts non-Samsung (even Xiaomi Huawei, erc) phones for swapping to Samsung.
The goolge fold is too expensive and that bezel is atrocious

I believe the ratio between those that prefer a slimmer screen and those that want a wider screen are more balanced than you think.
Samsung gets the majority of user feedback directly. They don't go to social forums. If they are wrong and lose market share, they can always adapt. I agree other foldables will gain market share, but the Z5 will likely still outsell them all combined like the Z4 because Samsung has more exposure. Samsung is also second largest seller of foldables in China.

exactly wow agreed and this phone looks good xioami listen customers,i have fold 3 but i wait like xioami and others delivered better design bigger displays ,samung fail sales but don't know why ,because delivered same boring phones just new camera and chipset inside copy paste samsung!
