Reminder security updates are useless, and Android "updates" only exist to slow down your device so they can add "support" for devices you don't own.
But it feels almost useless saying these things to communities that are sold on devices that have LESS features, and still think that "because my phone can't do X feature, it makes it faster!" or "X feature is so annoying, sure I can turn it off by toggling a button, but that's so much of a hassle!"

I would have agreed with you like 6 years ago, back when flagship phones only had 64gb storage on the base model but now the flagship phones have 256gb storage and are often running a free storage upgrade promotion to 512gb. 6 years ago USB-C Dacs were terrible, now the USB-C Dacs are better than or as good as the ones LG were using while only being like 20-30 bucks on average. There are still plenty of phones out there with a micro sd card slot and headphone jack made by Samsung. Plenty of other brands, such as Sony, also still include headphone jacks and micro sd card slots on their phones. Infact, if you look at the whole list of new phones that Samsung makes, Samsung makes MORE phones with headphone jacks and micro sd card slots than ones without it.

For me 6.1" (iphone 14 pro or S23) size is perfect.
