Anonymous, 01 Jun 2023Yes, company that has no more than 2 years surely has money... moreThey also only have two phones (1 released and 1 upcoming) compared to Samsung's hundreds of models. As a consumer you shouldn't care about how much money a company has but worry about what you are getting for your money instead. Otherwise it's just pointless fanboyism.

[deleted post]Yeah, there's no use trying to talk some sense into someone who is trying so hard to shame other people for something they are born with and not something they decided to have by using girly hands or hands of a woman as derogatory phrases then basically begs for the world to acknowledge the kind of hands that he has like that makes him special lol

If it comes with Android 14 then only I will consider it as 3 major upgrades else basically it is 2 years of Android update. Which IMO is not good.

Anton-, 01 Jun 2023I know people who measure 7.2 and have the feet or hands of... moreFirst, the opinion of the majority is important
Second, don't women use phones and don't have the right to choose?
Third, if there are tall people with small hands, their opinion does not matter?
Fourth, did you pay attention to the statistics I said and did you understand what I mean? Fewer people are taller and even you say that many of them have small hands, probably they also prefer smaller phones, but they go for bigger models because of battery problems or some other issues.
Fifth, you took the discussion to the wrong place because there are short people who want bigger phones and taste is also important.
I hope you learn to see others' opinions before moving to 6.9

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2023I am 6.2 feet tall and I like size 5.8 to 6.1 On the other... more... so Max sold more lol

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2023I am 6.2 feet tall and I like size 5.8 to 6.1 On the other... moreI know people who measure 7.2 and have the feet or hands of a lady!!! So your comment is discarded. If you want small phones, it includes phones from 2012.... They are already like the crybabies of micro sd and jacl 3.5, the trend has already set a course and we are going for 6.9 inches

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2023Bro 5.2 is average and 6 should be fineAre you still taking about screen size ? 😂

Anton-, 01 Jun 2023Most here have girly hands, 😂😂😂😂😂 I'm 6.7 already too ... moreI am 6.2 feet tall and I like size 5.8 to 6.1
On the other hand, only 1% of women are taller than 6 feet and only 1% of men are taller than 6.4 feet.
If smaller phones had the features of bigger phones, people and companies would go to smaller phones. Look at this site. Although the battery life of the iPhone 14 Pro is not as good as the Max model, it was the best-selling model after the Max model.

Visuth, 01 Jun 2023bigger screen : better users experience. simple. every man ... moreBigger screen also leads to faster battery drain, lower portability, lower ease of use especially with one hand, increased weight, and increased price - there is many reasons why bigger screen is worse, otherwise we would all be walking around with 14 inch tablet in our hands.

Anything more than 6.1 inch is too much for a mobile phone for the majority or users. You can hardly call it a "mobile" phone at this stage, it is not mobile at all. Less than 6 inch is best, in my opinion.

AnonD-1078988, 01 Jun 2023You're arguing for the sake of arguing. Also, you type... morePerhaps he has half the knowledge... You on the other hand have ZERO knowledge. Stock Android is garbage. If what you said were true then your garbage phones with beloved Stock Android would be battery life champions. And guess what, they aren't.
Also what constitutes "bloatware" is subjective. But of course you don't understand that.

AnonD-1078988, 01 Jun 2023Modern chips consume a lot of power and release a lot of he... moreYour words are true
But smaller phones fit more easily in the pocket and are also easier to use, for example, I use Samsung notes, and the large size is annoying when searching.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2023Yes, company that has no more than 2 years surely has money... moreWhat on earth are you talking about? A 2 year old company doesn't NEED to provide any cash at all. They don't even have to worry about the problem for at least 3 more years.

The difference between 3 and 4 year support window is negligable. The company would already have a small team of eningeers and testers in place with the skills and experience needed to update their Nothing UI to latest android and roll it out. The main reason they don't
give a longer support period is to encourage people to upgrade their devices every few years rather than keeping their old one and saving their wallets.

It's too big. Nothing phone is aimed at young kids who want to play with their smartphones.
The most successful best selling Smartphones have a smaller footprint:
                                Galaxy s23
                                Galaxy s23 plus
                                IPhone 14
                                iPhone 14 pro
And even the iPhone 14 pro Max and s23 ultra are smaller than the average Android smartphone considering their humongous screen size....

right always, 01 Jun 20236.7 screen is an over killStill to small for big people with big hands. It could be at least 6,8 like Moto G200.
7 or 8 inch should be bare minimum.
Its not my fault people did not eat properly and so they did not grow properly.
Small people should stick to Nokia 105 or something.
Andif they really want tiny and a very powerfull smartphone they can always buy Oukitel K16 which is klike premium smartphone with great specs for 232 euros.

Visuth, 01 Jun 2023bigger screen : better users experience. simple. every man ... moreNope, only if you have long fingers otherwise bigger phones are just ergonomically bad and you'll understand this in your 50s-60s when your hand/wrist will give you problems.

sa11oum, 01 Jun 2023Still early days but I really like what Nothing is doing so... moreMany should follow including Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi etc brands wghich makes 50 million phones a day not caring about environment but ignoring every even little.

i don't care about environmental friendliness. i don't care whether it has 5kg less or more carbon footprint or whether 3x more recycled materials were used or whatever else. i care whether the phone is competitive and whether it is better than its predecessor. environmental bullshittery is just marketing and a simple justification for removing features like charger, wired earbuds, cases etc.
