Garbage product. Redmi used to be good value more compact alternative to Redmi Note. Now Redmi is just an e waste product. If this had 6.2 in screen, helio g99, for around €150 it would be decent

    210 euros for old SoC and not even 5G ?
    Easily making over 100 euros per unit here.
    But some atill believe the 5% fanfic....

      as Note series they are pretty good, Note 11 is cheaper and better than Redmi 12.

        There was a time where the Redmi line was just smaller versions of the Redmi note line...
        The naming convention doesn't make any sense now. Redmi Note 12 and Redmi 12 have the same size whereas the Redmi 4 for example was just a smaller version of the the note 4 (5" Vs 5.5").

          What about the other countries like Indonesia,Philippines,Malaysia,Vietnam,Japan,and other?

            So basically a Redmi 10 with an extremely generic design. Xiaomi is on a clear downward spiral.

                - It has Bluetooth 5.3 instead of 5.1
                - The display is 0.29“ larger
                - It has an IP53 certification
                - the base storage model is gone (but the higher storage model costs same as before)
                - it is thinner but heavier, and the flat edge design will probably feel worse in hand

                But still, that‘s little improvement for 2 years of technological progress. The heavier weight could indicate a glass back or aluminum frame. But a somewhat better chipset with faster storage or a lower starting price would have been nice, in addition to the changes mentioned before.

                  This gotta have an ultrawide camera, if not it's a straight downgrade from redmi 10!

                        A Redmi with a simple Name? Impossible. There will have to follow a Prime NE 2024 version of this to make it more confusing
