Anonymous, 09 Jun 2023Wow, you managed to cram in ignorance, western superiority ... moreI'm just stating the truth. It's not my fault that you get offended by it (that's not even my intention and frankly I don't care - stop being a crybaby).
You're playing the racist card because you think it suits you , but remember that Samsung is also from Asia and it's the best Android brand out there .

AlienKiss , 08 Jun 2023If it's not a Samsung Galaxy S or an Apple iPhone , no... moreI see xiaomis and onePlus devices, on a daily basis in my country. Especially xiaomi sell like hot cakes in Germany, Nederlands, France, Romania and Bulgaria, most pribably other contries too. Samesung might have some market share too, but they do no better then the others... If anyone is willing to buy a samsung, they will also consider chinaware, for sure. Apple criphone being on the other side of the spectrum, and considered "premium"
Not that i care about chinese brands or do i care about apple, if anyone is here for longer, knows how i stand wben it comes to them, but you claim is just bs, sorry.

The phone design and the brand image is not currently special for country like EU, and don't forget the trade war between east and west also affect for EU people

I must say don't sell in EU or US, just sell in development countries like Asia or Africa or Latin America, people will buy it for cheap over the brand image

If it's not a Samsung Galaxy S or an Apple iPhone , no european person will buy it. Just deal with it. Go to South America or Africa because you won't sell anything in Europe .
As a european citizen, why should I bother buying the replica when I can buy the original ?
Remember: In Europe people want quality. We don't care about the price that much .

Rajek, 07 Jun 2023This is the perfect time for Xiaomi to take control of the ... moreNothing will change because no one bought oppo phones and their companies for the simple reason that the price was always too high.
The articles concern Poland, so I will give an example as a citizen currently we earn enough to easily buy brands that have great trust, e.g. Apple or Samsung, so the interest in a Chinese phone is close to zero.
The only exception was Huawei because before the US ban was better than Samsung even though it cost almost the same currently Huawei's place has Xiaomi but it is not a large market share.
In my opinion, oppo sees that the numbers are small and therefore prefers to leave Europe than pay money for a lost court case
