The USP of folding phones is 'the most screen real estate that can fit in your pocket'. If Oneplus release a bigger screen than Samsung they will get my money. So would have Pixel for that matter. Personally, I hope 1+ go LARGE!

As MrMobile pointed out in his Oneplus 11 review, Oneplus devices are the most inconsistent devices on the market when it comes to device specs & features. this foldable will either be a total bargain, or a total waste of money. A flip of a coin shall decide its fate.

OnePlus flip would have a large cover screen. Or small like Motorola Razr 40

AnonD-1094444, 07 Jun 2023Yawn. Just another variation of the Find N2.N3, not N2. This is going to be more along the lines of the Mix Fold 2 and Vivo X Fold 2.

Tigolebitties, 07 Jun 2023Rumor has it the OP Fold will have larger battery capacity ... moreIts almost certainly going to be an N3 clone.

AnonD-1094444, 07 Jun 2023Yawn. Just another variation of the Find N2.Rumor has it the OP Fold will have larger battery capacity and faster charging, SD8G2, and UFS 4.0 (vs 3.1 on N2), possibly a brand new device (we won) but it can be the rebranded version of N3 (we lost).

anon, 07 Jun 2023I think we know already that its going to be in the North A... moreYou'd be surprised just how often this happens. Xiaomi in particular is notorious for this when they don't sell ANY of their phones here. OnePlus will probably sell their Fold in NA, but don't expect it to be a much better deal than Samsung or Google. (I'm betting $1499-1599USD for what will end up being a much lower quality device.)

Anonymous, 07 Jun 2023If it is the find n2, what is point of this event? It's a global version of it.

naap51d, 07 Jun 2023Ahhhh...9 years ago, this "startup" OnePlus comes... moreHonestly, it's horrifying how much they have abused the OnePlus brand for its agenda. It's basically blasphemy. They created something holy, and then they secularized the sh!t outta it.

Mills, 07 Jun 2023Take it up with BBK. OnePlus is just a brand. Yeah, a brand that has been used and abused.

Buying OnePlus in 2023 is just not a smart move, this company doesn't have any identity, commitment and straight up lies.

I prefer the size and design of the Find N2. All book-style foldables should look it.

Ahhhh...9 years ago, this "startup" OnePlus comes along. We're gonna make flagship killers at a bargain basement price! First one comes out...oh, but being a startup, we can't make as many as we want. You'll have to have an "invite". Then people start complaining about the yellow tint. Oh, we just made the screen "warmer". Then it was found out the screens were rushed. And, we found out they weren't a "poor startup" but, a company owned by BBK, who also owns Oppo, among others. Shoot, the first OnePlus was nothing more than a few features removed from the Oppo Find 5. With each model, they increased the price and now they aren't a flagship killer, but a flagship IN PRICE.
Considering their trade in value, it's "cheaper" to just back a couple hundred bucks more and get the flagship. Especially with their version of android.
The OnePlus fold will be just a little less expensive than the Oppo version.
Look at it this way. OnePlus, is the "cheap" version of the more premium Oppo version.

From the start will be a bit dated & disappointing-

Not the newest processor or OS, plus- if any phone is meant for OP's 150W charger- it's this one.
I do realize that to meet the above-mentioned reqs the release would be much later.

However, one big plus will be its large size- to date everyone else has used small screens put together, which makes no sense.

Hopefully its screens will hold up- in contrast to all previous such iterations from all others.
