To add to it people don’t read, the image in the article pretty much says what free account can so and what paid does, for dev betas both are fine now.

scaramanga89, 07 Jun 2023Must be US only as it's looking to charge me. To download dev betas that is not possible, because in the past not paying meant no access to them.

Anyhow with this step I see Apple get rid of public betas, they don’t make much sense now that dev betas are available for everyone.

I believe this may be related to the EU regulation requiring then to allow sideloading. They would have likely gotten in trouble if there wasn't a free way to develop apps for the iPhone. Curiously though, it says you need the paid plan to develop for Mac outside of that app store. Can anyone with more experience confirm if that's an error or if that's really the case?

Cpt.Power, 07 Jun 2023Like anyone want be part of a copy cat robbery on a custome... moreSure, because Samsung is so cheap and doesn't copy anyone.
Also, notice that the Android manufacturers always mock Apple on their social networks, which clearly shows how afraid they are and how sure they are of Apple's success.
