If it was 1000 and now it's 4000 in EU then that's not impressive at all.

Honor has sold doing things very well in its medium and higher ranges. They will certainly have some tweaks to improve, but they are becoming good alternatives within Android when it comes to value and price.

Also the whole point of honor at the Start was to appeal to non Chinese students and as someone who used a honor phone, a budget one at that, for 4 years, I can say that their phones deserve the attention and a worthy successor to huawei

Huawei was condemned by western countries, so Honor was seperated from Huawei to prevent damage on Honor. Now, western europe loves Magic Series. I can't understand the west. One company is espionage service with strong ties to the chinese government, but its subsidiary company Honor isn't. They don't know what to do. They try to kill one, but the next one rises.
P.S.: Apple has also strong ties to US government but no country in the world copmlains.

Achieving a 400% annual growth rate is very simple.
If you sold one phone last year, you can sell four this year and call it a 400% increase.
Because Honor's smartphones were so small, it can look like a high growth rate even though they sold very few compared to other brands.
Especially since they are known to be bought by Chinese students who can't afford Huawei.

Before Huawei and Honor were one company, which Trump banned from using Google Play Services (GPS).
To avoid destruction Huawei and Honor artificially split, so they are now LEGALLY two different companied with Huawei still banned from using GPS (they can run apps requiring them through inefficient resource wasting virtualization), while new Honor phones are ALLOWED to use GPS.
So if you buy Huawei you buy device without GPS, if you buy Honor you will get GPS. To add more confusion their MagicOS/MagicUI use different version naming than Android, same as MIUI, so you must figure out what Android version their ROM use. Btw. there is still hardly any difference between EMUI/MagicOS/UI, it's just name difference.

great news indeed. i've used the honor view 10 in india and it was a great device. honor pulled its plug on india operations and sadly we do not get new huawei or honor devices. i wish they make a come back here.....cheers

This phone has a screen quality control problem.
They use mixed screen models, and one of them from BOE(another from Visionox) has defect at the pill.
Users will notice a bar-like tint at low brightness level around the pills. If you are interested in this issue you may want search on Chinese social media.

Its not like they didn't grow bco they were attached with Huawei when they were together it was a single company. Huawei was main focus, honor was made for online only fans to offer good phones at cheap price.

I'm in eastern europe and i don't think i've ever seen anyone with this Honor phone. It's lumped in with Doogee and Ulefone, those kind of chinese brands.
