          Compact size now means 146 mm in height or the same size as the iPhone X, XS, 11 Pro, 12, 13, 14, and non-XL Pixel 2 and 3? Compact should be no bigger than the iPhone 13 mini. And some think the 13 mini is too big. The original iPhone SE from 2016 or any iPhone before the 6 was the right size.

          We need another Xperia Compact again. Something closer to the XZ1 Compact and not the XZ2C. If it becomes a flip phone, I wouldn't mind it.

                      Last time I heard rumors, they said 6.3 inch. 5.8 inch is perfect, thank you for bringing reasonably sized phones Asus.

                          I hope they manage to keep the 4300mAh battery...

                            5.8" screen has very narrow width. Reading any kind of PDF becomes a pain.

                              Not much reason to make another big phone if 95%+ of the phone market are big phones, there is a enormous amount of choice already.

                              Meanwhile smaller phones like this are kind of dead, regular sized iphones and S23 are the most compact ones, but still bigger than what Zenfone is, and considering apple killed the mini line, Asus their phone is the smallest flagship now.
