I'm using an S20 FE and it's a great phone, I've had zero issues and I find the battery life excellent. Main attraction is the microsd card slot for me, I've been looking to update to something new, but all new phones don't offer expandable storage, I'll be sticking with my S20 FE.

S20 FE with expandable storage for US carriers that only offered the 128gb 6gb ram model. That was a big deal. Want an S21 FE for a carrier? Only 128gb. No expandable storage. Will the S23 FE be any different?

Yeah, S20 FE was a true flagship killer, better than S20+ for two thirds of a price. But S21 FE didn't have much point/value. And S23 FE with Exynos will be a total failure. Unless dirt cheap, which is unlikely.

wished they made budget s23u too..same form factor and size but with midrange chipset, camera and maybe no stylus. also speaker keep flagship grade same as s23u

I was waiting for S23 FE but when I heard they're using exynos, I bought Xiaomi 12T Pro for $600 instead 😎

BangBang, 10 Jun 2023The heat issue on s21 fe is bad, its true, but somehow i ca... more9611 has a weak gpu. You can notice it even on games like Pokemon Unite.
Also, it tends to heat up if you play with high graphics.

The phone turns on Power Saving when it drops to 30%. Always on Display is set to show for 10 seconds when i touch the display. I use Dark Mode from sunset to sunrise. I get 7 hour 30 minutes sot when i mostly use it on Wi-Fi, it drops to around 6 hours when i use it on Mobile Data.

And What is your Configuration Settings - Refresh Rate, Dark Mode Settings, Always On Display, Is Power/Battery Saving Mode Activated All Time OR you are using some other third party battery saving apps to get that Screen On Time..
Mainly what Apps you use in that 7.30 hours for what duration ??

Bogdaan, 10 Jun 2023I assume you use 60hz refresh rate to get 7h+I am using it on 120 Hz. It only drops to 60 Hz when it drops below 30% and power saving mode kicks in.

I own S21FE Exynos... moreThe heat issue on s21 fe is bad, its true, but somehow i can make the SoT for s21 fe for almost 8 hours, 7 hours 52 minutes exactly, i played game sometimes just for 30 minutes a day, longer than that? Yeah its laggy, but i know most samsung phones is not a good gaming phones, but have gaming capability, thats 1 of reasons im not pushing my phone for gaming, mostly i used to do multitasking and documents editing because i have many works to do and s21 fe is pretty much helpful for that, thats my personal experience. Most ppls always complaining exynos is slow / heat disaster, cannot reach some fps limits at gaming, well EXYNOS IS NOT A GAMING CHIPSETS, but just for simple/easy/casual gaming, not for real gaming/spending the whole day mostly just for gaming(i'd say they are a nolife person/s because even the pro/expert gamers do have many real life activity and they do fitness routinity too), some of them are good tho, like 9820, 9825, 970, 1080, 1380, 1330 9611 (both of this is good for long term casual gaming, i even still use m21 for easy/simple mmorpg game instead of using s21 fe).
