                  iirc samsung been using it for galaxy book, well they can have various reason why not opting it over 8gen2

                  if i am guessing, for power efficiency 8gen2 4nm more likely better compared 8cx gen2 7nm

                  and if we look ipad air with A14 vs M1 for many people probably dont really feel big difference between two, aside people think M1 obviously will have more future-proof

Don't make your opinion a fact, it doesn't work like that. Ipad doesn't have anything even comparable to Samsung Dex which easily makes it a viable day to day computer replacement for 90% of work. And yes, Dex works.

                                    They should at least use Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, from what I heard 8cx Gen 2 is comparable to Apple M1 Chip. So with that price, Samsung will have better chance at competing performance with Apple iPad Pro line up.

But yeah if you don't do video editing or playing heavy games like Genshin then something like 8 Gen 2 or Apple M2 will kinda useless. (Really hope Android or/and iPadOS can run desktop apps someday).
