I hold a long press ... moreOdd, I have, below the "Set wallpaper" button in preview, a circular button with 3 "twinkles" (Cinematic wallpaper) and a circular button with a "i" in it that when pressed tells you what folder the photo is in.
                    Anyway, you're missing nothing, it's rubbish.

                      also the feature to use your palm to take selfies isn't available yet. I presume we should wait for a camera update via Play Store in order to get it.

                        I hold a long press on the wallpaper and I press ''Wallpaper and style''.

                        I then press ''more wallpaper'' and I select an image in the category ''My photos''.

                        I select a photo, the phone gives me a preview with the only option of ''Set wallpaper''.

                        I do have a small exclamation mark in a white circle, but when I press it nothing happens.

                        I is no other option available.

                        After that it's not very serious, I survived very well without this feature lol. I imagine that will appear later for me.

                          It has to be your own photograph, it doesn't work on the Pixel ones - I can get the option on every photo in the "My photos" folder only.
                          I'm in the UK.

                                      it helps to look in the rearview mirror, how many great new applications are shut down after a while, uninstaller would help the process and the battery

I don't buy phones for resale value I just want to enjoy the journey while I have it. Have been really enjoying my pixels delightfully uncomplicated software experience, quality and monthly updates
