      I mostly just watch him for his fun personality and the quality production that goes into his videos.

      For actual in-depth objective reviews, I mainly rely on TechTablets.

        I'm more concerned of having the 8 Gen 2 BUT with only 8GB RAM and 128/256GB RAM and storage choices seem like 3 steps backwards?

        Like we should be getting the 8 Gen 2 for Samsung with these storage options:
        8/128GB
        12/256GB
        12/512GB

        I mean Oppo Find N2 Flip has this so why wouldn't the Galaxy Flip 5? Hmm.

          My goodness people complaining about how pricey the Fold and the Filps are. Where im at, in the Samsung website the Fold 4 is being sold for $1100 and the Flip 4 for about $500. If you are complaining about how incremental the upgrades for this years devices are and you really wanna try the foldables i suggest you buy last years models now.

          One good thing about Samsung devices, just like Apple, is how easy it is to resell it and get fairly good value. They even offer good trade in prices and tons of addons. When i post sammy and apple products for resell at the Marketplace, i sell it within the day. Other android brands take a bit of time to get attention.

            Anonymous, 16 Jun 2023Folder shaped external screen is not any better than a notc... moreexactly i don't get the whole argument about Motorola's screen looking worse to some because it goes over the camera like seriously? it literally looks more modern and then it has a bigger screen still, if flip 5 similarly extended over the cameras it would be that much larger and have that space next to the camera for other details like battery and such, like this that little angle/bump literally almost has no room because otherwise it obviously has the better chip, more protection as far as dust and water and such over the ultra, still will be hard to choose especially for someone that just uses their phone for regular tasks with the chips really making no difference for them so they can just go for the design they like visually

                      People complaining it is expensive - you should look at the ridiculously amazing samsung trade in values and other promotions online.
                      Traded my samsung galaxy s10+ to knock off £350 off my flip 3, and i also got a free galaxy watch. So paid 600 for the flip 3 and a galaxy watch.
                      My issue is the tiny battery. My flip 3 has a terrible tiny battery and i run it constantly on power saver which sucks

                        Earlier, phones with coloured screen(like 65k colour screen Nokia 1600) were emerged.

                        Then, from more buttons more cool (Blackberry) to pen/stick Touchscreen phones (Nokia 7710).

                        After that we had touchscreen with capacitive touch buttons below the display (Windows Phone, Lumia 720) which has now totally transformed to full touch interaction with display.

                        Now screen on both sides is emerging (Folding phones). I wonder what will next decade is going to bring for us.

                          I've read that some people don't care about the cover display and want the cheaper Razr 40 over the Ultra. The whole point for some people getting a flip phone is to NOT stare at a phone screen all day.

                          When will Samsung release a cheaper variant of their Z Folds and Flips? Samsung really squandered their. They're going to lose customers like a devout foldables supporter, Michael Fisher, to Motorola and Google this year. Samsung kept milking the same design and features to us. Flip 3 and 4 looked the same. Fold 2 through 5 has essentially looed the same.

                          The Razrs and Pixel Folds are starting to look more compelling than any of the Samsung foldables. The one thing going for the Fold 5 and Flip 5 is they are using an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Razrs and Pixel Fold are still using last year's chips. But I like the form factors of those two far more.

                            Folder shaped external screen is not any better than a notch or cutout, especially if it doesn't really have a high screen-to-body ratio

                              Just do the math. How many phones from A and M does samsung need to sell to make same revenue brought by S/Z devices?

                                  Agreed with other comments it's Gen 5 of the flip and it's so incremental and still so pricey. It's not much progress which is why you hardly ever see anyone using one out in public.
