1st iP... moreIt takes years to perfect something. Apple just want to perfect the experience before releasing it.
Don't think that just throw a tech call "wifi-7" and think that's all good.
Example: 120hz mobile screens, when it release, it drains so much battery.. people just set to 60 when it came out.. Apple came out, release variable refresh rate, 1 - 120hz then it becomes popularise.
Or the fingerprint scanner on the Moto atrix.. slide to scan.. it was inaccurate and slow.. It was perfected by iPhone 5S Touch ID.
That's why you see new tech is unpopular.. most of the time.. no adoption. Until Apple came.. and make it popular.. shows how it is to be done.

2nd Apple are working on cheaper sorry more affordable version,,
Given the number of patents already filed there seem to be two competing activities coming out. One based on this current design, and another design, both not released.
WiFi 7 has already been announced not officially, Gsmarena phonefinder only goes up to WiFi 6.
Connectivity on Gsmarena specs DOES include this you wil be looking for this Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e/7, tri-band, Wi-Fi Direct (or dual band)
Already mentioned Asus RoG, One Plus 11, Honor Magic 5 Oppo Find 6, Meizu 20
Launch in fanfare as the first Wifi 7 phone was the Xiaomi 13 pro, available since December 2022 this site shows it as WiFi 6, just a fyi, so the source may be more accurate this is just an innocent omission.
Long and short WiFi 7 phones are out there already.
Why Apple are waiting possibly 9 months after a launch to add a feature is something everyone has seen over the years

It will be new for iPhone users. So anyone who was using an older iPhone will still have the opportunity to use a periscope lens without having to migrate to another OS (Android).
Hence, it will still sell like hot cakes.
People can hate apple all they want but cant deny the fact that Apple keeps increasing their profit year over year.
Clearly they are doing something right, since business are there for the purpose of maximizing Profit.
