Don't expect third-party faces for the Apple Watch

It wouldn't be as stable an experience as Apple wants.

Over the years I had a large collection of watch faces that I bought from the Galaxy store for my Samsung watches. I ended up switching between only TWO. I've been using only an Apple Watch 6 since November 2020 and have stuck with ONE watch face. It has 8 complications out of whicho I've fiddled with 1-2. I truly don't want nor need third party watch faces

      Keep buying your horrible iDevices and pretending that they are great while ignoring the reality.

        Well, fact is, Apple Watch has by far the best stock watch faces. So many combinations and ability to use ANY complication in any available position. Galaxy Watch I have, has some alright watch faces, but most have some arbitrary nonsensical restricted complications, like some that always have steps, battery level and I don't know, sunrise-sunfall counters and you can't change them. Or a simple classy watch face and then it doesn't allow you date complication at 3 o'clock position. But you can put a heartrate complication for some reason. WHY?!

        Or how most of 3rd party watch faces are just garbage. They are all paid for and they are all terrible. They either require some 3rd party apps that also require registering account for some reason and most faces in them are again paid for or just terrible. I've found one that I quite liked and the damn thing when it went into AOD mode, the second hand froze in place, visible. WHY?! That looks so ugly. Out of all the crap I found one that imitates Rolex watch face and actually looks really nice. Not free, but it was just few cents so I'll allow that.

          It is just impressive that 95% of internet runs on Linux and Linux supports billions of hardware configuration without dropping a sweat but put a Nvidia GPU or try to use RAID on their ultra pro cheese grater and macOs goes Ogga bugga.

              Where are Apple fans saying Apple's software is the best? They can't even keep a watchface running in next software version if it isn't programmed by themselves. Imagine what would happen if third-party app installations were allowed. Apple's software is just fast because Apple fully controls your device. Imagine you could set up your device on your own with your own programms you have downloaded on the internet. Apple's software performance would drop rapidly. That is the main reason for why Apple doesn't want to free iOS etc from its restrictions.
