    - No 1080p need, for 4" 720p is enough and battery would last longer. Same at core numbers. Two should be enough

    - Decent camera quality. Forget about Megapixels. Here fails Rarz M and Razr I

    - Radio FM. NFC, please

    - Micro SD slot or at least 32 Gbs storage. 1/2 Gbs Ram

*** P2 Mini could be an option, but it dissapeared of Huawei planing few months ago.

Choice is good. There is a multitude of choice for small phones. Why deny others the choice for larger phones? If you don't like a larger device, just choose a small one.

People with a vision for the future and needs beyond social media can see that no phone is "smart".

What will be smart is a handheld device that is a fully functional computer – a personal hub totally integrated into a ubiquitously interconnected world. Texting will be viewed the same as morse coding via telegraph is viewed today.

How can so many young people be so old in their views?

This petition will be seen as utterly ridiculous in a very short span of time.

      Charge on, innovators!

what is the point of power if you don't have a large screen on wich to use it? that is why you don't have powerfull devices with small screens and that is why you won't have. you do not need high end hardware for a small screen because there is nothing to do with it, you also have less pixels. there is no point. waste of money and resources. so if you want a small device you'd better settle for what's already out there on the market.

Actually this type of petition doesn't really work out. The OEMs are money and revenue driven companies. They develop what they deem profitable. The drive to go big, i presume, was because sales of big screen phones keep rising, and they will lose a big chunk of the fat pie if they don't keep up with big screen models. Samsung and various other models prove that data again and again: Big isn't a turn off. Big brings business.
The same otherwise. If there is a trend that business for smaller phones pick up, they will immediate throw in resources to push out small phones to meet revenue requirements.

I see the galaxy s4 mini as the state of the art cellphone and comparing it with the galaxy s4 I think we need to wait at least two years to see a high end phone (not mini tablet) with such great specifications. I think Sony has the potential. It offered (only for Japan) the xperia SX one year ago, so you are right Samsung is not such an amazing company until they show they can put the S4 specs in a 4" device. Right now they simply cannot. Have a nice day.

Thats why there is a need for smaller flagship phones.

Current flagship phones: "Hey i need to drink soup! Fetch me my ladle!" .. it's embarrassing.

I'd argue a 4.5 to 5" screen device is still pocketable bit agree that manufacturers have become lazy with the capability of their devices. In truth, a 4" screen is perfectly adequate as long as half of it isn't obscured by an onscreen keyboard every time you need to interact with the device. I'm writing this from a Galaxy note 1 and the amount of screen I can actually see right now is tiny. Samsung should look at the Sony Ericsson P900 from the early 2000's to see how to properly optimise text input for a full-screen interface. (Remove the flip-down keyboard, there is genuinely no need for it)
This device is not only awkwardly proportioned in both hand and pocket, but slow to perform ordinary tasks (like open an s note) and has the pitifully few buttons located in such a way it's hard to handle without inadvertently pressing one. Oh and the much lauded stylus is so innaccurate as to render it useless for anything actually productive. I'm going back to my Nokia N900 with a qwerty keyboard - remember them? Learn the keyboard shortcuts and never look back.
