Hardware doesn't matter much if a platform is target specifically and devs make sure games run well on it, and Valve tailors the whole experience with their own Linux distro, having developers working on proton, the graphics drivers, etc

      Windows on a handheld, hell no. Linux is much more fun and proton is a blessing from the Wine and Valve developers

        Linux works great install tumbleweed microos and steam flatpak it is also possible to run windows under linux or all other distros under distrobox everything in this tiny thing

Also you know that Asus is more focused on selling computers than smartphones, right? That's why they don't even care about their phone's security policy.

                  imo the sensible choice here is steam deck. i wouldn't buy this. but everyone's free to do whatever and if u have money why not

                      Instead of launching things which most people don't buy, maybe Asus launching the Zenfone 10 under another moniker (like Asus 10Z or something) would be a better option. They've missed this with the Zenfone 9, hoping Zenfone 10 can be launched
