Asus Zenfone 10's specs surface with more renders, confirm 3.5mm headphone jack

    Also this phone is for people with small hands, not for you. Get one of those big phones if you don't like small ones.

          Phone size is not measured on how large the screen is. It's measured by the body size so if you have lots of bezels then the phone be bigger in size. 6-7 years ago when we had 10mm bezel on top and bottom then even 5.5inch screen phones were as large as we have now 6.67inch screen phones.

          And nobody knows what market wants cause only flagship price prhones are small today. S23 and standard iphone 14 are in same size 146mm tall for 6.1 inch screen and both are 800 euro phone that is for the 10% market maybe as the people who buy flagships.

          There is 0 options for budget range 100-250 euro phones and 0 in middle range 250-500 euro phones to have 6.1 inch screen and be 146mm tall. Even Google Pixel 6a with 6.1 inch phone that is in the middle range price now with something 350 euro for a year old phone was still 152mm tall so not so compact. Just like Sony 6.1 inch that is 156mm tall that is basically a 6.4 inch screen size. Xiaomi 13 that is 6.36inch screen is 152.8mm tall

            For 156mm tall phone i expect something 6.3-6.4inch screen at least when 6.67 inch fit in 161mm tall phone

              iphone mini was like less then 100 euro cheaper then standard iphone 13 so it made no sense. It would of being hit on something 400-500 euro range.

              Price has a lot of effect on the market for people to buy. Also people who want compact phone dont need it to be flagship as they dont use it for work and is more for like taking calls and making calls while have big enough screen to play some time killer games or to read some social media but that is it basically.

On the other hand Iphone SE was cheaper and with smaller screen even tough lots of bezels and still sold well as they still make that series that now gets larger with larger screen and less bezels.

                Also there are no compact phones anymore to judge what market wants larger or not. there is only larger and larger to get and only examples for compact phones are S23 and standard iphone and both sell well and that should say that people want more compact phones. There just isnt anything for budget to middle class as compact size phones even on modern day standards of 146mm tall

It's 10mm taller then S23 that is also 6.1 inch so i would say screen dimension dont really matter on the phone size to say what is phablet and what is not. S23 is on the same size as Zenfone 9 while have 0.2inch larger screen

                  Sony 6.1 inch screen are still phablet cause phone body size is what makes a phone compact. My Poco F5 is 161mm tall but has 6.67 inch screen and that is only 5mm taller then Xperia 5 with 6.1 inch screen that is 0.57 inch smaller

                  My Redmi note 5 Ai Dual Cam was 158.6mm tall and had 5.99 inch screen

                      Screen dimensions of this phone's screen(5.9" AR: 2.22) is 136.7x61.5mm
                      Screen dimensions of 5" screen with AR: 16/9 is 110.7x62.3mm

                      The height doesn't matter much, but the width of just 61.5mm is too narrow. Reading text becomes tedious as you have to scroll a lot. My comment applies to 4.7" iPhones too. Not sure how people tolerate such narrow screens.

                        Nicely done Asus!

                        Hardware spec this would be a GREAT replacement for my current iPhone 12mini or anyone that has the 13 mini this year (I had one but stolen - iCloud locked so fool is carry a bring with minimal parts use).

                        5000mAh battery and 120hz screen.

                          Lookin like a pretty damn good next phone for me with that headphone jack being there.

                                You could even get a 10,800MAH battery if you wanted to.
                                Just increase the thickness which to me is better then having all these long phones now a days with screen sizes that are huuuge and yet.... Still can't beat what a removable battery phone can push out with a smaller screen.

                                Phones would have to be over 7 inches of screen to be able to get past over 6K MAH battery from what the phone industry has shown.

                                Now you see why removable batteries was amazing? Add to the fact with another battery you would never be tied down to any cords or wireless charging and your charging would be fastest charging possible without doing damage to the battery and your phone (since you will be charging the spare battery externally not inside the phone like all phones do now)

                                On top of that the case that i got for the V20 had the battery part extended out the rest was just like a normal size for a case so it wasn't that huge.

                                Phones like Xperias would be amazing having removable batteries since they don't weigh as much as other phones so even with a huge battery it would still weigh like nothing

It would be like saying there isn't any market for a grocery store just because it doesn't sell as much as a supermarket. A market, though not as huge, is a market nonetheless.

                                  Apple decided there wasn't enough buyers for their mini phones so they stopped making it. It's their prerogative. But 5.4" iOS phone doesn't have the same market as a 5.9" android phone. And whether or not there's a market for this current zenfone size is decided by Asus from their own sales, not from the sales of a phone by another brand. And it seems for them, there is a significant market for their 5.9" android phone because if not, they would've stopped releasing one.
