Oppo teases 64MP periscope camera on Reno 10 Pro+ in India

    This Phone is expected to launch in India below Rs.50K segment in July & with a good Telephoto Camera set up which is now available in Flagship phones. None in the midrange have it & in future expect more phones to have it. I am looking to buy Oppo Reno 10 pro plus for this feature. Hope Gsmarena will review this Phone before launch.

      GDS Khera, 27 Jun 2023Understandable, But a 4-5X would have been great, a 3X port... morenah, even 1 inch sensor loses a lot of quality at 4x crop, sensor size needs to be bigger and camera algorithm needs to be improved more for 3-4x lossless zoom from main cam.
      most people rather have a dedicated 3x than a 4x crop from main, at least until 2024 when we will get the new bigger sensor than 1 inch. i think that main sensor can be capable of 2.5-3x ALMOST great quality zoom as the upper mid range telephoto sensors+combined with ai based up-scaling for portraits, but still not as good as dedicated flagship zoom sensors.

        It could compete with samsung ultra almost, if it came with normal Bayer 64mp.
        Even more could be said on xiaomi's 50mp at 5x, but we'll, it's slightly better anyway so it's good.

          Hah I already know this will launch at 50k. Oppo always trying to overrate their own products by pricing them high.

                  That's achievable normally... Atleast bump it to 4-5X Oppo.
