I have an an Xperia P that does not lag. Coming from symbian and BlackBerry, I'd say your answer is vague and insufficient. The main reason any device lags is hardware specs and in that case you're saying the new device will have poor hardware spec sheet. Nokia simply does not do android. At least not yet.

Ouh dear. Once again Nokia is coming so much behind to everybody else. It has been very shameful last 6 years watching Nokia downhill.
Im very positive if Nokia had listen to customers they would not be in this situation. Also naming on the board names like Marko Ahtisaari and Esko Aho is hilarious..not.
I saw little light of innovation when they produced Nokia N9 but joining MS camp has been disaster.

This is the opportunity to launch a phone with "everything". I hate the way Nokia trims it phones. If you want wifi, you cannot get flash camera, if you want a nice camera, forget the battery backup or the radio, if you want a nice screen, probably the phone won't have wifi.

Because ,for one, that would be a lowering of quality for Nokia, and second, they would have to assign resources to work on an ecosystem full of fierce competition. Only Samsung is making money from Android, so why would Nokia want to get into that mess?
