Too damn expensive. Give me a mid-end compact phone. Rip out the good screen and gimbal whatnot.

      50 MP 1/1.56" sounds like it is IMX 766 again. IMX 766 is one of the worst 50 MP sensors. I might just get an Xperia 5 V then.

        disappointed, really. I'd sacrifice the 3.5 jack for a larger battery.

          I'll pass.. no advantages from Zenfone 9, like nothing changed, literally.

          It got even worse, Ultra wide lost AF, Selfie lost AF and 4k recording,

          Everything else the same, and there isn't a real difference between gen+ 1 and gen 2, so yep, Zenfone 9 is my next phone, same specs, cheaper price

            Upcoming 5 v is way better.
            May be €1000, but comes with WF-1000x m5 that is flagship earbud they make.

              Thankful that it exists.

                Sadly the Ultrawide and selfie cam lost autofocus. And no 200MP camera for loseless zoom

                  S23 is better imo, it's cheaper and has a telephoto, also Samsung takes better pictures once you turn off trash scene optimizer

                      Glad the 8mp UW rumor wasn't true. The front facing camera upgrade has always interested me more than a 200MP main camera as the lowlight performance on the 8, and apparently on the 9 as well with the same camera, is just poor.

                        This huge cam rings are nothing necessary.

                          Looks great! Asus should slim their phone to less than 9mm though

                              With how ginormous those bezels are they could've fit a 6.1" display in the same body.
                              Also the 200MP + 8MP camera setup and 5000mAh battery rumors were wrong, maybe reconsider your sources GSMArena.
