I wonder if Samsung drop the A7x line to make way for the S FE as its replacement. The alleged $599 price tag is hard to ignore since the S21 FE starts at $699.

Looks like it should be A74 5G or A54 Ultra 5G bruh

Customers have decided, and they want larger screens. And if someone makes smaller (like Asus), the phone is still the same size as Galaxy S22/S23 with larger screen.

Juice98, 28 Jun 2023For anybody looking to buy this phone, just don't. The... moreI can confirm, had it in S22U from EU and it was the worse battery life that I had in years. Way better in S23U and better than Note10+

Whats the point to mention type-c port ? It's already standard on everything and it's S class phone too. I get it when it would come like micro usb then you mention it but with type-c i just dont get it. Also Samsung have pretty much all phones with AMOLED and under display fingerprint scanner and that be expected on S class FE also

For anybody looking to buy this phone, just don't. The Exynos 2200 is horrific when it comes to battery life. Just buy a regular S23, A54, Moto Edge 40 Pro or the previous S21FE.

It appears that either Samsung is in denial of the disdain for the Exynos chips, or they have actually begun improving it, or something else.

S23 FE could be a repurposed (cancelled) A74, from the looks of it. Similar case to the cancelled HTC-made Google Pixel 2 XL, then repurposed as the HTC U11+ six years ago.

Tiaan90, 28 Jun 2023You might as well just buy the A54. At least you get a bigg... moreSamsung will need to rationalize some of its series as it is already stepping on its own toes trying to lock down the market.

                                        It already has the phone models in A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 A7
Additionally many of these were followed by the 5G variant

Already stated get A54 instead of the S23 FE instead as it has memory expansion.

I think that there won't be S24 FE due in part to the late release of the S23 FE and that there was no S22 FE, two years gives Samsung room to show distinctive upgrade between phone.

Dropping say the 'even' number Asl series A2, A4, A6 gives the 'odd' room.

If say I were shopping, I could make s list the prices and main phone features, the vast majority probably won't visit this site and see what SoC is installed. The use of one SoC over another differentiates MRSP when other physical specs are similar
