                These earbuds are recent trend and these are expensive so they can replace normal hearing aid. Same way scientists won't use a macro camera to study bacteria/virus nor they will use telephoto cameras to study planets.

                Actually most people don't know the true potential of actual cameras they just got smartphone toys which produces good enough quality. That's why they see movies and think they can get same image with their phones. Also they can't get their hands on a professional camera because of the very high cost of gears.

                Just check camera samples for a f/1.2 lens.

                  Why do hearing aids exist then? They'd just as well get this 2-in-1 device instead.
