4GB RAM gets you far with a lightweight distribution like Lubuntu or Linux Lite. Even 2GB works for light browsing.

Unless they are selling cloud storage in disguise

The Narzo 60 is finally something Original Realme has put on the table, they totally didn't just grab the realme 11, called it a narzo 60, and went on with it, oh no, Oppo would never.

poophone, 03 Jul 2023this is beginning to be ridiculous/ stupid, mobile devices ... moreTo run ok windows dont need more then 4GB but it's just standard to have 8GB now.
But well on Windows you have choice to upgrade your PC as add more RAM or change cpu as depends what the motherboard is supporting. These usually support more chips in the same genre as for intel you can change from i5 to i7 or i9. Change or add graphics card when your integrated graphics gets slow.

On phones i agree that i dont also understand what is there that needs more then even 4-6GB. But well there are programs that you can feed how ever much RAM and they use it too but it wont make the program run better or faster with more ram and like week ago there was news that phones even get 24GB of RAM that just makes no sense.

It's like the camera mp numbers that go over 100 or 200 but wont make better pictures then 12mp or 50mp with good sensors. It's just number manipulation to fool customers. Who see more high numbers and think that must be good.

Reminds me a TV Show named Chuck where the mc was computer shop employee and a client ask question what is bigger GB to TB and when got the answer that TB is bigger then ask to have PC built with X number TB of RAM

this is beginning to be ridiculous/ stupid, mobile devices needing over 16GB ram to run smoothly with light apps like mail, social media apps, camera, and some health apps while full-fledged OS's like W10 and MacOS need only 8GB to run ok and the multi-tasking capabilities and productivity cannot be compared.

xslvrxslwt, 03 Jul 2023"virtual RAM" 💀Virtual RAM is just a trap that's specifically designed to lure non-techy people in believing that they actually got 8GB/12GB RAM while in actuality its just 4GB RAM.

Waiting for Realme to launch Virtual ROM also.
If that 1TB is actually 256GB hardware wise while rest 768GB is Virtual ROM,I'd not be surprised knowing Realme.

UI full of Ads & recommendations that you can't get rid off,Gimmicky features Ever fluctuating prices that one day its 20k,the next day you might see 33k.

& one interesting story about Realme's sub-brand "DIZO".Their poor customers buying their products while something goes sideways their customers have no support, even their mentioned Toll free numbers are off the line.
So its clear DIZO is quietly exiting market without anyone knowing so that they don't have to spend on giving services to their existing customers.

                    Classic!!!

                      "virtual RAM" 💀
