Anyway, as for my opinion on the design: this is fine. In fact, I'm surprised they DID keep the design of the Phone (1), back last year I was expecting them to get rid of more and more of the unique (or gimmicky) features until it was just another standard Android phone.

They didn't make the sides round though, they're still pretty flat, which is odd especially after all the rumors and leaks. I mean, the back and front are rounded now, at least that'll be more comfortable.

Other than that... it's just more of the same, just better. So basically like all the others.

I do think they should've done more colors, although I guess just having white and black makes sense with the mechanic futuristic style they're doing.

Has anyone ever used a Nothing phone with these lights? What's the impact on battery life? Because this would be a significant change going from 12 to 33 lights on the back.

Only substantial upgrade I see is the processor which will result in better computational photography and videos, rest everything is similar. A telephoto lens with 3x zoom capability should have been included atleast as a pro version or something. It's neither a premium nor a flagship killer IMO.

Nothing seems to offer nothing new. If priced wrongly this phone is dead on arrival.

Okay, but that differentiation should be useful for the customer. The LEDs on the back makes no Sense. I never put my smartphone with the display down 👎 on the table. The screen is always watching me. It would have been more useful if they had added a build in lighter (for smoking). That would give at least smoking people a practical use.

Useless LEDs on the back. The nothing phone is just another generic android device. Big screen, punch hole display and heavy. This phone has no real unique selling point. I often criticise Sony but at least their devices despite being way too expensive for what they offer, have unique selling point: full screen (no notch) and 21:9 ratio display.
Samsung offers great displays across their whole smartphone line and long software support. Sometimes even on Google level (several years security patches).
And Google's USP: Software (being amongst the first to get new android version and sw support for several years.
But nothing phone has no USP. It's just a hype.
