04 July 2023
The new camera module has a much larger aperture, but most details are kept under wraps for now.

Welllets see the camera results when phone will be official.

    We could have phones without those humps, if they just released those thick folds with cameras using their max thickness, like first folds from huawei.
    Now we got phones with good cameras but screen at size limit, thick bodies and folds with good screen size but bad cameras and thick body too.
    While it is not possible and with examples too lol.

      Maybe ZTE will use 1/0.98" lytia from sony or something else?
      There are rumors about some having 1.3" in research , but I do not believe they got hands on this crazy, way over 1" sensor.

        Anonymous, 04 Jul 2023Why other manufacturers don't offer 35mm as standard?Thickness of module. Cam bump becomes even more obscene.
        Look at mi 13 ultra and find x6 pro.
        Bumps would be way thicker if using 35mm instead of 23.

            The next 200mp in S24 should be on the bigger sensor like 1/1.12".

                HP1 = 1/1.22"
                HP2 = 1/1.3"
                HP3 = 1/1.4".

                Sometimes 1/1.28" is also described as 1/1.3", same way 1/2.55" is sometimes called 1/2.6". Barely difference. So, it can be 108MP samsung, 50 MP sony or 50MP/48MP omnivision.
