Sellers insisting burn ins are normal for amoled and it's alright since the burn doesn't affect performance. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

joe nodden, 05 Jul 2023LCD and an outdated SoC? And why are they aiming for thinne... moreI honestly see this as a win given the price. The SD 8 Gen 2's trump card of efficiency isn't so important on a tablet with such a large battery. Besides, LCD screens are perfectly cromulent for indoor use. MicroLEDs would be nice, but OLEDs aren't necessary.

I might seem like a ZTE fanboy but I'm just being realistic; Retail prices where I live for a similar iPad Pro are double or triple this tablet's cost.

What's missing is the Redmagic fan. There's obviously space for one, so why exclude it?

They should've put Windows or another Linux distro on it tbh. A dual boot thing would've been interesting.

LCD and an outdated SoC? And why are they aiming for thinness in a "gaming" tablet? That's less mass to dissipate heat and it's not like it's suddenly gonna be pocketable.

I guess there's worse things for the price but this doesn't make a huge amount of sense.

Amazing price for a tablet like this. However I don't think I'll buy one. Not because I don't like it, but more because I have two tablets that are still perfectly fine. The only downside to this tablet is probably the lack of updates. RedMagic devices have been notorious for a lack of updates compared to other brands. Everything else is great!

For keyboard and mouse and I have never heard of any mobile game that supports this.

oofio2461, 05 Jul 20238+ g1 are becoming the flagship 695 nowNah, it's replacing (finally) the old trusty and widespread SD 870.

8+G1 is still a great flagship chipset. I feel more manufacturers should be adding it to their tablets and phones respectively.

It's the only TSMC chip from Qualcomm. The previous 8G1 is fabbed from Samsung and Sammy chips are inferior. They heat up a lot. Not TSMC.

So stop whining about 8+G1. It's a perfect chip for this tablet. Hopefully more manufacturers make similar specced tablets for the global market.

Serious question. Is there really any Android games that can utilize keyboard/mouse or controller?

Many carriers today give lots of 5G data when roaming around the countries, so you have ample data to stream or live game when there's no wifi available. Thus a 4g, or at least a 5G modem is required.
